Hospiscare is an essential and important local charity, caring for those with terminal illnesses and supporting their families in their last days.The work is absolutely essential and during these trying times they are estimated to lose a substantial amount of income. 

Of every pound raised by this incredible charity, 89p is directed to the care and support of the patients involved with the remainder being spent on administration and advertising.

Having recently used my Hiking YouTube channel as a platform to raise some money for the Macmillan Mighty hike, I saw this Himalayan Trek advertised locally and couldn't resist the challenge! Its set to be a once in a lifetime experience, and to be able to fund-raise and bring additional awareness of the work that Hospice Care do for those who need it most is an honour. 

I am honoured to provide funds towards this amazing charity, and the chance to trek in Nepal will be an amazing accomplishment, but with all that is going on at the moment, whether we get to go or not, the fund raising is more important than ever.
