On Sunday 8th October 2017 whilst competing in the Chester Metric Marathon , Trevor Cording sadly passed away after suffering a heart attack.
Trevor was a member of the Fylde Coast Running Club and more recently Northwich Running Club.
His passion was running and he ran for his own enjoyment and also to raise money for charities, taking part in many 5k, 10k races, London Marathon and Manchester Marathons.
Whilst Trevor strived to get his best performances in races for the charities and also himself, he always selflessly supported other runners with guidance, advice and also supporting them on the last sections of races after he had finished. In this way he has impacted on so many fellow runners.
Alder Hey Children's Charity was very close to his heart after his son Ethan was in their care in 2009, and also a close friends Daughter Skye.
His wonderful wife Fiona, Daughter Eleyna, Sons Archie and Ethan, and all his family and friends want to be able to carry on Trevor's extraordinary achievements by raising as
much money as possible, in order for his legacy to never be forgotten.
