We use our know-how, skills, and reputation to run programmes that trigger real change

Story

Trust Women is  the Thomson Reuters
Foundation’s annual flagship event. It is committed to finding real solutions
to empower women and to fight slavery worldwide. The event brings together
global corporations, lawyers, government representatives, and pioneers in the
field of women’s rights and anti-slavery. The 2015 annual conference brought
together 550 global leaders from 50 countries including Brazil, Australia,
China, India, Kyrgyzstan and Switzerland.

The Trust Women Scholarship Programme, which you
are donating to, funds leading women’s rights experts from across the world to
attend the annual Trust Women conference. In 2015, we received applications
from 90 countries and selected Scholars from developing nations with expert
knowledge of our conference themes. This year, we will award up to 55 scholarships
to applicants from diverse disciplines that will bring unique perspectives and
help forge tangible commitments at Trust Women. For global leaders who want to
connect and take action, the prestigious Trust Women Scholarship Programme
offers access to an influential gathering of NGOs, heads of corporations,
lawyers, public servants and philanthropists from around the world.
