As you are probably aware by now, myself, matt and sam are taking part in this years twoball rally original route.

The basic gist of the event is to buy a car for under £567 (the banger), fix it up (adding some sort of theme - ours is the A Team) and take it through 9 countires over 4 days completing various tasks along the way.

We are well on our way to finishing our banger. She is being sprayed over the next few weekends to finish the look and then on Thursday 15th August we’ll be taking her over to France to the start line. During those 4 days we are hoping to do more than just have a laugh and see some of the great sights of Europe. We will be hoping to raise enough money to fund a defibrillator for another local school. Most of you know my story and why I am always looking to fund defibrillators. There are so many people who are not as lucky as I was, 12 young people die every week and if there was a defib in every school and every sports hall that number would be significantly reduced.

I have recently connected with the amazing charity Carly Heart Trust https://www.carlyhearttrust.com/. Carly survived a very similar situation to myself and now helps to provide first aid training and defibs for schools. If we can raise just £600 that will provide the equipment for a local school that could help save someones life.
