Unofficial Mongol Rally · 26 July 2019

Defying Dementia is a community-supported campaign aiming make a real difference to people's lives by tackling the big threat that is presented by Alzheimer's disease. Every penny you donate will provide direct support to our research team and will help to make a real difference.

Story

The Mongol rally is an adventure road trip across Europe and Asia, setting off from Lancaster UK to Ulaanbaatar Mongolia. This will be a challenge as it must be done in a small car with a small engine and travels over many miles of dirt roads, peppered with crater sized pot holes.

Defying dementia do work, close to our hearts, from within our University. They research into the condition for better treatment and care for those living with it, and to raise awareness.

Thank you for your donation and support.
