Ian is now offering to shave his beard if we reach £600! We've done well in less than 24 hours - thanks to everyone who has donated so far and let's keep up the good work! When we reach this new target, both beards will be shaved, so stay tuned and share our message! This is important so if I could have 2 minutes of your time, that would be appreciated. As I'm sure many of you are aware, Nepal is in need of help. As a mountaineering society, and just as human beings, this is important to us. SO... we've come up with a way that you can donate a bit of money, (to Community Action Nepal) and get some enjoyment out of it too.
All of you should know by now that Ben loves his beard dearly. The hour long daily treatment that it receives means that it was voted best beard in Nottingham 2014. Okaaay, that was a lie, but i think that if there was a competition, his beard would probably be up there... at least top 20.
We're making him shave it off. simple as that really. But! the price of this is high! Ben's not going to do it for a tenner... He said that it needs to reach £300 before anyone is allowed near that precious thing!
https://www.justgiving.com/UoN-Mountaineering < This link will take you to the page where you can donate any amount, and keep an eye on our target. Once the £300 has been achieved we will arrange a time to see the beautiful beard be shaved off, leaving us with a very baby faced Ben.
You guys may say you're short on money, but just remember... I know how much mountaineering gear costs!
