Story

One of the Urban Planters team is currently being treated for Acute Myeloid Leukaemia at Sheffield Hospital and is undergoing stem cell treatment in a bid to beat the disease.

It is a gruelling treatment and we want support Roger in his battle by raising money for the fantastic ward he is on and its hardworking staff.

So, this year, at our annual conference, we are taking our usual team building activities up a notch or two, by embarking on a mass trek up Mount Snowdon.

We want to add our climbed metres together at the end and see how many times we have scaled the height of Everest (train trips to the top do not count!).

Please support our endeavour: we hope to raise well beyond our target of £8,848, simply selected as it is the height of Everest in metres, so we can help the fantastic Haematology Department at Sheffield Hospital.

Cancer patients spend a lot of time in hospital and anything to make them more comfortable would make all the difference at this difficult time.
