Every year, thousands of young people across the capital become homeless through no fault of their own. That’s why New Horizon exists. We are a vital support network for 16–24-year-olds with nowhere else to go. Through our services, we support young people experiencing homelessness in London to improve their wellbeing, change their economic circumstances and find somewhere that they can call home.

Story

This JustGiving page has been set up in memory of our Dad, Urel Duncan Cogheil.

Over the last few weeks and days, a number of people have asked how they can contribute and help to support our family. So instead of gifts & flowers, it would mean so much to us - if we could help others in need, and invite you to donate to the New Horizon Youth Centre.

After a period of ill health, Dad sadly passed away on the 18th of July 2022. One of Dad’s most attractive traits was that no matter what you had done, or no matter who else had turned their back on you - he was willing to give you another chance.

The New Horizon Youth Centre charity reaches out and offers a helping hand to young people in need, giving them a safe, stable foundation from which to reach their potential.

We would therefore kindly ask that instead of buying gifts or flowers for Dad’s funeral, donations are made to our chosen charity.

Thank you for your consideration and kind support.
