Story
Help us to fund resources for the three fantastic special schools in the COP Federation. Palatine and Oak Grove cater for children with special educational needs many of whom have associated sensory, motor and communication difficulties including Autistic Spectrum Conditions. Cornfield School is for boys with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Fundraising allows the schools to address the unique needs of all the pupils at the schools and enhance their learning experience to make it as fun, dynamic and creative as possible.
Just under a year ago at 45 I had a total hip replacement. Walking short distances, climbing stairs and even driving was total agony. I have come a long way since the operation last April and I am now pain free and mobile. Something I have not been for over 5 years.
As the Business Manager at Cornfield School, I have first hand experience of how important it is for our young people to have the right resources to allow them to flourish, and how limited funding is for schools.
I will be walking 5k, something unthinkable a few months ago, in the west Worthing 5 &10k on Sunday 12th March. I will be raising money for the COP Federation so these three Special Schools can buy special and additional resources for their pupils.
Please help me raise money for this worthy cause and support my personal journey back to fitness.
Thank you
Ness
