Leaving on the 25th March 2014, we will be undertaking a breathtaking cycle ride through Central and South America starting in Cancun, Mexico and ending in Lima, Peru.

OUR AIM

• 5386km

• 10 countries (Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador and Peru)

• 3 months

• Average 60km per day

While in Peru, when we will be completely exhausted, we will then climb up the mountian range 'The Cordillera Blanca', which is the highest tropical mountain range on the planet and home to the world's highest tropical mountain - Huascaran (6768m / 22,205ft)

We have decided to raise money for the charity 'Mind', as we both feel strongly about the taboo of mental health and the stigma attached. We have both been exposed to Mental Health issues in the past and are fully aware that 1 in 4 people within the course of a year will be affected by it. With only 14% of people feeling that they receive adequate care from the NHS, something needs to be done. We feel it is the silent illness that can be more powerful and more devastating than people care to admit.

This is why we ask you to help, putting your hands in your pockets, donating what ever you feel is right and helping Mind continuing to help people not face mental illness alone. 

 Ultimately we want to remove the stigma of mental health by not only make more people aware of their own problems, but also educating people to acknowledge other people’s.
