A number of years ago I lost a very close friend, Jane Ashton, she took me under her wing at a point in my life when things weren't easy.
We went everywhere together, we laughed & cried, shared some tough times.
Jane firstly had cervical cancer and took a life changing & saving decision to have a hysterectomy unfortunately a couple of years later she became unwell again. This tall, beautiful, fun & loving young woman was riddled with a cancer which took her life.
In the last few weeks of her life she stayed at St Rocco's Hospice, where her every need was taken care of, with love & laughter.
Not only did they look after Jane allowing her to slip away peacefully and with dignity, they supported her immediate family. Not being close family I wasnt expecting to receive any support from the hospice, I couldn't have been more wrong! The hand of support & care was extended to me as much as her family and for that I will be forever grateful.
Over the years I've taken part in the Starlight Walk, Colour Run and through the company I work for, Rybrook Jaguar, we have sponsored the annual golf day......now after being asked a number of times over a number of years I have agreed to take part in 'St Rocco's Strictly'.
Cadmans Dance School, Sale are providing the Professional Dancers and Dance Lessons leading up to the 'dance off' for 10 couples at a very glittering glamours evening in December..........so I hope I haven't got two left feet, that my Professional Dancer is strong, thoughtful and has steel toe caps in his dancing shoes!!
Can I please ask you to consider sponsoring me? It doesn't matter what the amount is, every penny donated is a penny the hospice doesn't have.
Thank you Vx
