Autism Berkshire aims to help improve and support the lives of people with autism, their parents, their familes and carers.

Story

We have now completed the race and pleased to let you know that Carmelo finished in 2hrs and 31mins and I finished in 2hrs 42 mins.

Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects the way a person communicates and relates to people around them. People with autism have difficulties with everyday social interaction.

Berkshire Autistic Society exists to support children and adults with autism, autism-related problems, Asperger's Syndrome, or challenging behaviour, to enable them to reach and fulfil their potential. BAS provides information and advice on education, diagnosis, care, integration and guidance for both those with autism and their families and carers. Support includes two dedicated help lines, regular news and information, subsidised leisure facilities, regular meetings and support for individuals on the autistic spectrum and their parents and families.

Make a Donation Under current tax laws, BAS can make your donation go further if you "Gift Aid" your payment. If you pay at least standard rate income tax, BAS can claim an extra 28p for every £1 you donate.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Berkshire Autistic Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you all for your prayers and support. Anyone can donate it does not matter which part of the world you are in.

So please sponsor us now!
