this walk will be a great challenge to each of us to complete the 100kms in the 30 hour deadline but we are willing to do this to support those who are less well off than ourselves. The money raised will go to support the work of Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare fund. We have set the target of £1500 to raise but hope with your help it will be higher. The monies we raise could do the following: £142 could install a water pump and irrigation system for farmers in Rwanda; £100 could buy a bed for a Ghurka pensioner in our residential home; £43 could provide a month's welfare pension for a deserving Gurkha in Nepal; £25 could boost the income and improve then diet of an Ethiopian family by providing them with a goat or sheep. We believe it is worth the challenge for us to do this walk and raise this money to help people like these. So please believe in us too and dig deep and donate now.
