Story
We are taking on the hardest cycle challenge we have ever done in aid of Prostate cancer UK on July 17th this year. Prostate cancer has affected a close family member of Struan's and your donated money is going in aid of research and awareness and is much appreciated. Not only is Ride Wales in a day a 185miles long it also covers 15,000 ft of climbing. Trust me that's a lot of climbing. Ride Wales in a day is an epic ride from the top of Wales at Caernarfon to the bottom Chepstow. There are 6 taking part in our team and they are Struan Marshall, Simon Storey, Craig Patison, Mark Slater, Chris Taylor and Peter Satchwell. We have a support driver Harry Bromage who is kindly driving us to the start and will follow us to the finish before bringing our tired bodies home. We would like to thank Tesco who are supporting our venture with the use of one of their vehicles. This is an organised event with approximately 400-600 riders altogether. Simon has yet again organised all the other parts of our venture but not the route so we should not get lost this time like our previous epic rides. On the day you will be able to follow our journey with live tracking. This is definitely going to be the toughest challenge yet for us but the worthy cause we are riding for will drive us on during the day. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
