Thus far this walk has been a very empowering experience. Having sustained injuries in the last 4 years myself it has been a great challenge and one I would recommend. 

ALALA  (All for Love and Love for All) is a registered charity run by volunteers.  Our love mission is to provide; clean water, food, clothing and shelter and to build sustainable orphanages for children affected by manmade or natural disasters.  

For the last 3 years, we have mainly provided clothes food and clean water to the children who lost their parents from the Ebola virus in Sierra Leone Africa.

Your money is truly going to such a good cause, This year in April with the funds raised so far through this fundraising effort

In Sierra Leone, we have contributed towards the building of an orphanage, a water borehole and bought seeds and tools for their vegetable garden.

We have paid for the installation of clean water systems in 3 slums in Freetown (Water tanks, taps, pipes, connections and labor etc) providing water for over 15000 people and children living there. 

In one of the worst slums, we have visited there are children living and surviving from the rubbish dump. This has bought awareness to our team to create a better healthier more empowering way of living for those children. Some of them have expressed a wish for a better life. 

A local philanthropist has been inspired by the Love mission work we have been doing in April this year and has allocated a very large piece of land where we are now planning to build a substantial sustainable orphanage; using eco bricks and solar power providing free clean water, a vegetable and fruit garden and a home for over 30 children. We hope to provide for a place where they can have the basics of education (reading, writing, and maths) as well as a creative space where they can explore the arts, music, sports and learn skills for life such as carpentry, cooking, sewing, pottery, etc.

We believe it is very important to teach children to live a sustainable life.

“Give them a fish you feed them for a day, teach them how to fish you feed them for life” 

Each eco-brick costs £0.40 For the entire orphanage we need to buy 44,000 eco bricks for the walls.

We have created a fundraising incentive called empower-bricks and have estimated that £1 per empower-brick will cover the cost of building the orphanage. 

An Empower-brick including the cost of bricks, cement, labor, windows, doors, roof, kitchen, garden, toilets, showers, floor, wood, solar power, water system, fixtures, and fittings.

The total cost is estimated at 33000 Empower bricks that is £33,000 to complete the children home.
