As part of my Dig Deep in association with the Lumsden club, my friends Joseph, Phoebe and I are going to be raising money for Fife Women's Aid. 

UPDATED:

In July, as a team we walked 100 miles in 4 days. This time we will be walking 83 miles in 4 days but this time with the colder conditions of England in December. Due to COVID regulations and the Thames Path being flooded, we have taken a test and have delayed our walk by one day. We are staying in Somerset for the foreseeable and will begin our walk on the 28th December 

Fife Women's Aid is an amazing charity, supporting women who have been subject to domestic abuse. I feel this charity is particularly important in this time due to cases of abuse having rocketed because of the COVID19 pandemic. People have been forced to stay at home, with less support from the outside world. Joseph, Phoebe, and  I chose the number 83 because in 83% of repeated domestic abuse cases the victims are women.
