This summer, Spectrum CIC’s Chief Executive, Dr Linda Harris OBE, will be taking part in ‘Walk This Wain For Ukraine’ – a strenuous 12-day walking challenge following Wainwright’s stunning coast-to-coast trail. Dr Linda has signed up for this to fundraise for Spectrum’s chosen charity of the year, DEC Ukraine.

What is Wainwright’s Coast-to-Coast Challenge?  

Dreamt up by the famous hill walker and writer Alfred Wainwright, the walk showcases the very best of 3 National Parks. This magnificent long-distance route starts at the red sandstone sea cliffs of St Bees, Cumbria and passes through the dramatic rugged mountains of the Lake District, the softer landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales and over the heather-clad North York Moors, before finishing in the quaint fishing village of Robin Hood’s Bay, Yorkshire.
