On Tuesday 11th June 2019, our Nursery and Children's Centre will be putting their best feet forward and taking part in a sponsored walk around Stratford Park.

The aim of this walk is to raise money and reach our target for the amazing local children's hospice - Richard House. 

Richard House Children's Hospice serves the heart of East London. They deliver specialist care for babies, children and young adults, while supporting families through counselling, therapy, bereavement support and more. Richard House has a focus on living for today and creating positive memories for tomorrow. They also offer a range of activities for all the family to enjoy. 

All their services are completely free of charge and as a local charity over 70% of their funding is charitable - from the generosity of local people, companies and groups holding events just like this one!

Our sponsored walk allows us to gather as a community and for our children to be part of a worthy cause, raising money for other children who are most in need of help.

All Nursery children will be participating as part of the normal nursery day. We will also be calling upon our Children's Centre families to also join us for the event with their babies and children under the age of 5 years.

After the walk we will be gathering to take part in games and a picnic in the part to conclude the event.
