Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I can't beleive I have signed up to do a 10km run - thats long distance, right?!  I havn't run further than to the pub to catch last orders in about 12, or so, years.  However, its going well, I have been training, and apart from the occasional sore joint or 4, i feel good about the event.  It's not until May 9th, but i want us to raise as much money for this small, but brilliant wee Charity as we can.  Your sponsor, no matter how big or small, really makes a huge difference, and might help me to forget about the ensuing near death experience, and my bunion!

So Please, get your hands in your pockets, and donate now.  Thanks in advance. Love Love, Fee.

The Malawi Education Project is a Bristol (UK) based organisation that aims to support education, literacy and access to learning resources in Malawi, South East Africa. MEP began life as a book donation project, collecting surplus educational resources including books & stationary which were shipped to Malawi in 2006, and put to extremely good use in creating our two pilot libraries, in Cape Maclear Primary School and Sambani Secondary.
Energised by the success of the pilot, MEP came back to the UK where support for the project had grown, and decided to turn this good idea into a sustainable, effective and efficient charity, working hard to help thousands of the worlds' poorest children to gain an education that will in turn assist the development of Malawi as a Nation.
