No one could have predicted the scale of the Pandemic, nor the effect it was to have on the mental health of this great nation.

When originally deciding upon the Samaritans for our chosen charity of the year, 2020, we could never have predicted just how appropriate our choice would be. Sadly, as it wasn’t really possible to conclude our efforts as we might have hoped last year, it was unanimously agreed to continue our support till the end of 2021.

The outstanding USP of the Samaritans for Wellworking, was simply
the fact that no matter your history, ethnicity or indeed, status in life, there would always be someone ready to listen, but never judge. That may not sound like a huge deal, but when you feel that you’re utterly and completely alone and hope has all but faded, it can often be the difference that enables you to keep, ‘passing that open window’.  

It is for this reason, we ask for your help so that we, may help those who for whatever reason, may be struggling at the moment to help
themselves.
