Gavin and Jake are walking the Welsh 3 peaks on 13th July 2019 to raise money for Toucan For Children.

The walk includes a total walking distance of 17 miles (27.4km) and an ascent of 2334 metres (7657ft) over Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen Y Fan. Covering 345 miles by car and all done in less than 24 hours.

Toucan for children was set up in 2010 to meet the needs of children who are experiencing emotional difficulties in their lives. Since then they have helped nearly 400 children and their families overcome those difficulties.

The idea for Toucan came about when Janice Watkins and Angie Beard, Toucan’s founders identified that there was a lack of front line services responding to children’s emotional needs, which provided the impetus for them to retrain as Play Therapists and set up Toucan for Children.
