Hello my dear family, friends and colleagues.

I am taking the ‘Tough Mudder Challenge’ this year on Saturday 29th September for the wonderful Bede Association Starfish domestic violence project.

I am joining the team of metropolitan police officers, who  work closely with Bede Independent Domestic Violence Advisors to tackle Domestic Abuse in Southwark.  

The challenge is taking place in the fields and trails of Holmbush Estate, South London. It’s a mix of wooded, undulating fields and gritty mud run with over 15 obstacles to test my mental grit and physical ability! 

I might die….but  I will have hopefully raised a lot of money for an amazing group of people who change the lives of individuals and their children, helping them to a new and safer life.
