The Wetwheels Yorkshire Miles Of Smiles Appeal is to raise funds to make sure every disabled person that would like the opportunity to access the sea, and take a safe, adventurous and FUN trip on the new Yorkshire boat, can do so regardless of their ability to pay.

As little at £35 could make a difference to the lives of the disabled people we help. 

People like Dale, aged 22, who suffered an accident aged 14 that left him a paraplegic, which in turn caused him to become socially isolated within his community.  After just three trips on Wetwheels Yorkshire Dale has become much more ongoing and confident.  So much so that he recently appeared on a BBC TV program to tell his story and how, through being able to access the sea and go fishing with his dad, he has a more positive outlook on life.

Wetwheels Yorkshire works with organisations such as Ryedale Special Families, Martin House Children's Hospice and Forget Me Not Children's Hospice to create memories that last a lifetime.
