Story

In December 2017, Wight Lightning are attempting to row 3000 miles non-stop across the Atlantic Ocean.

They are the Isle of Wight's first ocean rowing team, competing against international crews in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge - the world's toughest row.

From all walks of life, these four strangers were brought together by a row to the Isle of Wight in a kids rubber dinghy. The crew are raising money for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust - they help young cancer sufferers rebuild their lives through sailing.
