Story
Every day, around 10 children and young people in the UK hear the shocking news they have cancer. At the moment, CLIC Sargent is not able to help all of them. They are UK's leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families. They provide clinical, practical and emotional support to help them cope with cancer and get the most out of life.
- £100 could pay for nearly 4 hours of a CLIC Sargent Nurse's time.
- £300 could fund a CLIC Sargent grant to help a bereaved family pay for a child's funeral.
- £821 could pay for a CLIC Sargent Social Worker for a week, supporting children and young people, as well as their families, to cope with the impact of a cancer diagnosis on their lives.
This year I will be running the London Virgin Money Marathon to spread awareness and raise money for the charity. CLIC Sargent depends almost entirely on voluntary donations to fund their services, therefore if you can, please spare a pound or two.
