I'm doing this event for the Wilderness Foundation because I believe passionately in what they do.  Wild places make us happy, we need them, and they're under threat.

The Wilderness Foundation operate in both developed and developing countries; in the former, they get inner city kids out into the countryside and in touch with nature, and in the latter, they help preserve the natural environment through projects like training HIV orphans to work in eco-tourism.
