We provide therapeutic community music to disabled and disadvantaged people

Story

Stephen Thompson and I have decided to give our conscience a spring clean and raise some much needed funds for a special local Charity.

Sunbeams Music Trust, a Cumbrian based charity, do amazing work for people with special needs in the North West of England and have been doing so for over 20 years now.

With the recent pulling of numerous public funds, the work they do in many institutions has become increasingly difficult to sustain and along with their continued appeal for funding to build a much needed centre. They aren't a large organisation with millions to spend on advertising and marketing so please visit their website for more information:

www.sunbeamsmusic.org

We have put together a hair brained plan to generate some money for them in the form of a challenge, based around the Lake district on 20th April 2012.

The genius idea is to go to every lake in the Lake District, in one weekend, on bike.

170 miles incorporating 19 lakes and Honister and Kirkstone Pass. No one seems to have tried this yet for some reason.

We would greatly appreciate whatever you can afford to help raise money for their cause.

Thank you for your time

Will and Stephen

P.S. For info Lakes on the route are: Bassenthwaite, Blelham Tarn, Brothers Water, Buttermere, Coniston, Derwent Water, Elterwater, Crummock Water, Ennerdale, Esthwaite, Grasmere, Haweswater, Loughrigg Tarn, Lowerwater, Rydal Water, Thirlmere, Ullswater, Wastwater and Windermere.
