Story
As Scotland's greatest ever AMATEUR weatherman, I'm fortunate to have a cult following of over 150,000 people on both Facebook and Twitter
I had always wanted to organise a golf day because I'm a keen golfer myself, and so are a lot of my followers. However I never really got round to it
Then on Christmas Eve 2013, I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and decided to organise a charity golf day in 2014, in aid of Diabetes Scotland
It was such a success that I decided to organise another one in 2015, but this time in aid of CHAS Rachel House, which also turned to out to be a success well. So I done another one in 2016 for the Scottish Association for Mental Health, which, aye you've guessed, also turned out to be another successful day . . . . .
So here we are again, and I find myself organising Windys Big Charity Golf Day 2017, in aid of the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution)
To date we've raised about £30,000 pounds, and my personal charity dream is to raise £100,000 over 10 years
Thank you so much
