We are taking on the National Three Peaks Twenty Four Hour Challenge on the 6th-7th July in order to raise funds for an exercise bike for the Cardiac Rehabilitation classes at Worcestershire Royal Hospital. This will be of great benefit for the many patients that use this service. It will enhance their recovery as we do not currently have any aerobic exercise equipment.

On the Three Peaks Challenge we will be walking around 22.5 miles (36km), climbing over 9500ft (3000m), and driving 450 miles (724km). We start at 0830 on the 6th July at Ben Nevis with an aim to complete the ascent and descent in five hours. We will then transfer to Wasdell Head in the Lake District and commence the climb of Scafell Pike at 1930, most of which will take place during the night. This should take around four hours to complete. We should leave there at around 2330 and transfer to Snowdon. If all is well, we should arrive there at 0430 and begin our final climb. The target is to complete the Snowden climb in four hours and to be back at 'Base Camp' by 0830 and enjoy a hearty breakfast (see what I did there?).

We are funding the transport and guides for the Challenge from our own pockets so all the monies raised will go directly to Cardiac Rehabilitation at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
