Story

Hi, I'm Alfie, a little Corgi, and Oldies Club supporter. From 15-29 September 2012, I will be walking 100 miles on my little legs, to raise funds for Oldies Club, a UK dog rescue charity that is run entirely by volunteers and which rescues and rehomes older dogs.

It's not safe for a little dog to be out walking on their own, so I am taking my lovely humans, Ray and Nora, who also support Oldies Club, with me. Ray has previously completed fundraising walks for Oldies Club, so I'm glad to have an experienced long distance walker with me!

We would be very grateful if you would sponsor us on our 100 mile walk - and please send some dry weather wishes our way, too!

We will be walking the Yorkshire Wolds Way, which totals around 80 miles. In case that isn't long enough, we will then immediately walk a further 20 miles along the disused railway track from Whitby to Scarborough, which is 21 miles!

Please make a donation today if you can. We will be very grateful for every donation received. Please tell your friends about our page too.

Thank you,

Alfie

Oldies Club is a dog rescue charity which is run by volunteers and helps dogs aged 7+. It often takes in dogs that have been neglected, resulting in large vet bills. Oldies Club places dogs in foster homes, where they are assessed and receive any veterinary treatment required before being rehomed.
