Dear friends,

Since 2012 I have had the privilege to be a volunteer in the Camp Simcha family. Anyone who has been touched by Camp Simcha UK knows first-hand how their 20+ services transform the lives of hundreds of sick children and their families every day of the year. From providing vital medical equipment to therapies, hospital meals to family retreats, Camp Simcha does all in its power to help put back together the lives of families shattered by cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Nowhere is the power of ‘simcha’ stronger than at Camp Simcha USA. Each year, Camp Simcha flies a group of children from the UK to New York to spend the summer at the happiest place on earth! This magical place transforms the lives of hundreds of sick kids each year with a fully-equipped clinical centre, round-the-clock medical staff, world-class facilities and totally accessible activities for all types of disabilities - you have to see it to believe it. Camp Simcha gives kids the confidence and strength to look beyond their illnesses and find love and joy in life once more; giving them the energy and strength to continue fighting for the year ahead. 

Everything about Camp Simcha represents the very best of our community. Organisations like Camp Simcha are harder to find than a panda in the wild. That's why on 9th February 2020, I‘ll be running in the Miami Marathon in honour of my incredible campers and all the amazing kids and families of Camp Simcha dressed as a lifesize panda! The money raised will go directly to Camp Simcha UK to enable us to take more children this year to camp in NY.
