On 3 November 2018 I'm taking part in Hitchin Come Dancing - a Strictly style event where 12 couples will dance to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund. 

The amazing Maggie Killingbeck is staging this awesome night at Hitchin Town Hall in memory of her husband Steve, who passed away from the disease in 2012. Since then, Maggie and her family have risen to tough physical and emotional challenges and raised thousands of pounds for Pancreatic Cancer Research and also for Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, a place close to their hearts and mine – and this event will certainly be the most sparkly. 

I'm terrified yet honoured to be taking part, dancing a quickstep with my lovely partner Jason Wood. I'm a total novice (but a Strictly superfan), so I'm training really hard and hoping I don't fall over on the night.

If you'd like to donate anything, big or small, then we're all super grateful, it all goes to an amazing cause. And I'll do my best to bring that glitterball home – while raising as much money as possible.
