I am walking the 24 mile Yorkshire Three Peaks on Saturday 5th October in memory of my happy go lucky Chris, who died so tragically in December 2018.

I am raising money for Every Life Matters, a Cumbria Suicide Prevention Charity. I want people who feel lost and alone to know that they can reach out and get help. That its ok to talk about how they feel and that others are there to help them.

Every Life Matters work across Cumbria helping tackle the stigma around suicide. They provide training and awareness raising to help people understand when someone is having thoughts of suicide, how we can all play a part in supporting someone at risk, and what services and support are available locally and nationally. They will also be starting a new service supporting people and communities bereaved by suicide later in 2019.
