Join other Yorkshire Cat Rescue supporters on the last Friday of every month in a fundraising frenzy and help save the region's homeless cats and kittens. All the funds raised will go directly towards caring for the thousands of cats and kittens that are abandoned across Yorkshire each year.  With your help we can continue to keep them save until we find them a new, loving home.

The target for each fundraiser is £25 in a day.  Think you can do it?  Here are some ideas to get you started, and we hope you will share your fundraising successes with us so that other people can do the same things.

With your family

• Do a sponsored toddle
  
• Bake cakes and sell them to neighbours, friends and colleagues
  
• Have a baby bits and bobs sale or car boot sale - unwanted toys and equipment are real favourites with new and expectant mums!
  

For animal lovers

• Offer to cat sit for a donation
  
• Arrange a pet photo competition
  
• Walk your friend or neighbour's dog for a donation
  

In groups

• You could arrange a meal out - ask everyone to make a small donation to reach your £25 target
  
• Guess the weight of a cake, the number of sweets in a jar or the name of the bear - the winner gets to keep it
  
• Organise a clothes and jewellery party - sell your unwanted stuff to your friends and buy theirs - each person makes a contribution towards your £25
  

With £25 we can buy a box of formula milk and a kitten feeder which will help us save the life of an orphan kitten...
or we can neuter a tom cat to stop him wandering the streets wehre he will be forced into fights with other males.
Two people raising £50 between them will spay a female cat so she doesn't have to give birth to tens of kittens every year that have no home to go to.
Four people raising £100 between them will provide basic dental care so a homeless cat can eat and groom himself free of pain ...or it will help us neuter a tom cat and microchip and vaccinate him against potentially deadly diseases.
And even if you raise just £5 it will buy a box of food to feed a cat for four days, or a mummy cat and her kittens for two days.
