We help unwanted and vulnerable animals to find their loving forever homes

Story

A small, male, dachshund was found, injured, wandering the streets by very kind members of the public who took him to the vets at Vets4Pets Cardiff Newport road on Saturday 11th April.

He was frail, in pain with severe injuries that looked like he had been attacked by another dog.

The amazingly kind and caring vet and practice owner,  Rhian, at Vets4Pets Cardiff Newport road immediately started emergency treatment.

He has received 24hour care by the vets at the practice, Rhian & Emilie, and their amazing team!

He is improving everyday and loving the TLC from the team. He has such a kind nature & has been named Walter.

He has had surgery to repair his wounds, fluid therapy for dehydration, medication for pain control and antibiotics. He requires daily bandage changes and follow up care. The fees for this are costly & the practice has donated every single thing for this little lad.

He is currently feeling a lot better now he is being cared for and his injuries treated. His road to recovery is a long one but the team at Vets4Pets are dedicated to his care.

The awesome charity Four Paws animal rescue (south wales)  has kindly agreed to assist the practice with the fees for Walter's care but they are a charity helping a lot of other animals in need so let's show them our appreciation in donating what we can!
