Story

I am a 50 year old ex-service man, from the 3rd Battalion Royal Green Jackets. I recently retired and am taking the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream of walking from John O' Groats to Lands End to raise money for the deserving H4HV Charity.

As ex-forces, I know all too well, the sacrifices that our dedicated men and women of the armed forces make to protect our country and I want to be able to give back to a community that has supported me, to make a difference to the brave men and women, and help them find somewhere to call home.

The money will be donated to the Help4Homeless Veterans charity whose mission is to source and provide accommodation to Ex Service Personnel who are living rough or in unsatisfactory accommodation.

Please give generously.

About the charity

. As a charity we have helped many homeless personnel by providing a wraparound Service of Care (SOC). We have housed many who were street homeless and provided more sustainable accommodation for those who previously were living in inadequate accommodation. Many are suffering from PTSD
