Hi everyone,

We are training to climb Kilimanjaro in late August and are getting really excited for the challenge! Kilimanjaro is 5,895m above sea level, the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free standing mountain in the world.

We will be fundraising for 'Water for Africa', a brilliant charity focused on providing water, sanitation and healthcare facilities to communities in Africa. They build and maintain clean water projects that have an incredible impact, particularly in the region in which we will be doing our climb.

If we were to raise £5000 it would fund a borehole water system for an entire community! And if we reach £10,000 it would provide a solar powered system and overhead tank - which could provide clean water for generations.
