Our father Leslie, was diagnosed, with a cancerous tumour 3 years ago. Never once did he give up fighting, even though he underwent chemotherapy, & radio therapy, his love of life, & the love for his family was to strong. He was under the care of St Lukes at Guildford hospital, where the level of care he received was 2nd to none. After his 1st course of treatment, we all gave a dad a present......we threw him out of a plane in a tandem skydive, he was the oldest one in the plane, but again his, love of life, kept everyone entertained on the journey up, & on the return journey down. He did this to raise money for Bright, which is researching the treatment of gastro-intestinal cancers.

Unfortunately this disease got to much for him, & despite fighting until the bitter the end, he passed away, at home, with all his family around him on Friday 5th February 2016.We, the family, are asking for no flowers, but a donation, to the charity Bright, so they continue with their research, into the treatment of this awful disease.
