Story
Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales at 1085m high, the biggest challenge will be taking it on by torch light. 10 of Grosvenor Health and Social Care's management team will be taking on the challenge on the evening of 20th June.
Grosvenor have been in partnership with the Care Workers Charity for the past 2 years and proudly were awarded Best Care Engagement Group in the Care Workers Charity Awards 2018. We are very passionate about supporting those on the frontline in our industry.
There are 1.5 million care workers in Britain, for whom early starts, long hours and mentally draining work are part and parcel of the job. As a result, it’s all too easy for illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, to push them beyond their financial limits and this charity provides support to these people when they need it most.
The Care Workers Charity provides small grants to those working or have worked in the care industry when they are facing financial hardship. They provide support and advice and are able to give back to those who dedicate their lives to helping care for people.
The majority of us taking part are not the most active people. This is going to be a huge challenge and is not something we have signed up to lightly.
Please give what you can to support this fantastic cause and raise awareness of the amazing work they do!
