Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income.This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.

WHO IS HACKNEY SHED?

Hackney Shed is a performing arts group for young people. We believe that every member of the group has something special to offer. Hackney Shed works to provide an exciting, creative and accepting place for children and young people to come together, share ideas and produce exciting theatre.

Hackney Shed Staff is committed to keep sessions running so have decided to join in with their own challenges in order to support Hackney Shed.

How are we joining in?

• Vicki is going to run up and down the 26 steps in her house 26 times in 26 minutes. 
• Anna is going to learn 26 tricks with her dog and they are going to perform them together...at exactly the same time!
• Claudia is going to learn 26 iconic dance moves from popular music videos
• Barry is going to say 26 different tongue twisters in 2.6 minutes.

They are all training and working hard to accomplish their challenges and raise funds for Hackney Shed.
