We are Ben and Jamie and on the 5th September we are running the Leeds Half Marathon for a local charity, Elliot's Footprint.  We've put in hours of training, got the gear, the commitment and a few jitters to be fair - now all we need is your support.

Elliot's Footprint is a charity set up in the name of Elliot by his mum and dad, Andrea and John.  Elliot sadly died when he was just 2 years old, he wasn't ill, just went for an afternoon sleep and never woke up.

We are running the Leeds Half Marathon to support the work that Elliot's Footprint does to help other families who experience the devastation of the sudden death of their child.  Elliots Footprint funds a family bereavement support worker who is there in the immediate aftermath to help families navigate through the trauma and devastation that losing their child brings.  

We all know the huge impact Covid has had on all our lives - charities especially have been hit hard through loss of fundraising opportunities to keep vital support services running.  Without funding this family bereavement worker won't be able to continue offering that vital help to families when they need us most.

For our part we are putting in the miles of training and focusing on our goal of getting past that finishing line.  Please support us where you can.
