Evening all,

I shall be participating in a "football marathon" on July 19th in aid of Tackle Africa, http://www.tackleafrica.org/index.html, a charity that aims to raise awareness and understanding of HIV and AIDS across Africa through the global medium of football.

Now to why it I referred to it as a football marathon...

• The football marathon is a continuous 6 a side tournament on that runs for 12 hours (8.30am-8.30pm) non stop. 
• There are 32 teams that will be playing 20 min games on continuous rotation
• Each squad has  8 players with rolling subs
• We will play an average of 23 games of football during the day
• You will cover roughly 32 miles during the day (averaging 4mph).
