We raise funds for Suicide Prevention to stop people taking their own lives.

Story

As many of you will know, my brother Stuart Mohacsi took his own life on 24th November 2021 and left a gaping hole in all our lives that can not be filled.

Stuart’s passing was completely out of the blue. He didn’t talk about how dark a place he was in. None of us knew just how badly he was suffering. None of us knew he thought the world would be a better place without him in it. The reality is it’s not a better place without you Stu. Trying to accept that life goes on without you, not being able to pick up the phone and talk to you and knowing that you are missing out on everything in the future hurts the most.

For his birthday this year I decided that I would commit to jumping out of an aeroplane on the 11th June 2022 to raise money for a charity dedicated to mental health.

With a little help from friends, I think we’ve found the perfect charity - Hector’s House.

Hectors house has an abundance of support. For those suffering with mental health, those who have lost a loved one to suicide and probably the part I love the most educating others. Hector’s house visit schools in the south east to talk about mental health and promote healthy eating. They help young people understand their feelings and destigmatise reaching out.

We see more and more on social media with regards to young people taking their own lives. I honestly believe that by educating in schools this will help people as they grow into adults and I love that this charity is so involved with this.

I would be so grateful for any donation you may be able to give to help such a worthy cause.

So this one’s dedicated to you Stuart. I know you would have loved nothing more than to see me absolutely sh*t my pants jumping out of a plane. And I know you would have been there on the ground watching and cheering me on.

I also know you would have loved to do it but let’s face it with the weight limits you would definitely have been far too top heavy for that! So this is me ticking it off of your bucket list for you.

I promise to keep raising money to support mental health in your memory for the rest of my life ❤️ love and miss you so much.
