Story

As some of you may know our dad, husband, granddad, brother, uncle & friend, Robby O'Connor, passed away in January 2017 after a short illness from Oesophageal Cancer, the work the OCF do with regard to raising awareness and support from this silent killer is second to none! Their efforts in trying to make people aware that an early diagnosis with this disease is key to giving you the best chance at survival. Unfortunately our dad did become a statistic but before that he left an ever lasting legacy which we will always remember. The OCF rely so much on donations in order to continue their support and awareness, during these times events which would have provided much of their donations have all been cancelled. The OCF are running a fundraiser where they are asking people to run walk or crawl 50km throughout the month of July in the hope of raising €50k, I will be taking part in this great cause and I hope you can help in whatever way you can, all donations no matter how small will help raise that much needed awareness to try help someone else with an early diagnosis and give them a fighting chance.https://5050.ocf.ie/fundraising/in-memory-of-robby-oconnorThank you. #5050OCF
