The Cambridge University Chinese New Year Trust (CUCNY Trust) is the fundraising arm of CNYTrust (Charity Number 1107782), an international charity which helps to improve access to education for children and young people in rural China.
As students of the University of Cambridge, we are very lucky to receive a world-class education at one of the top universities in the world.
Each year, we raise funds and awareness through events held in Cambridge, and all of our profits, as well as generous donations from our sponsors, are fully invested into our projects in China. Since our establishment in 2001, we have raised more than £100,000, helped hundreds of children, sponsored 42 Chinese university students from disadvantaged background and established a now full-fledged primary school. Last year, we have raised £2,069.66 through our charity run event.
