We support people with Spinal Cord Injury to help them live full, independent lives

Story

I’m taking on the Aspire Channel Swim 2021 at my local Salford Community Leisure pool, swimming the distance of the English Channel, there and back, over 12 weeks between Monday 27th September 2021 and Monday 20th December 2021 to raise money for Aspire. This is 44 miles, which is the equivalent to 2,832 lengths in 25m pool length. Every four hours someone is paralysed by Spinal Cord injury, and it changes everything. Most people aren’t able to live in the house they were in before, as most homes in the UK aren’t accessible.

Therefore, I’m hoping you could sponsor me please, and help me raise money, with a target of £1,000. Any donations would be much appreciated, and I would be very grateful. It would mean a lot to me and Aspire. Whether it’s a £5 or a £500 donation, every little bit will help. Every pound I raise will provide the essential equipment, advice and housing that spinal cord injured people need to live their full lives independently.

I’ll be updating my JustGiving page justgiving.com/fundraising/jack-sullivan-2021-channel-swim-82061(Link in Profile Bio) and Social Media channels @MrJackMcLaren with my progress. This is a big challenge, but the more I raise, the more of a difference I’ll make, so please be generous!

Thank you for your support.
