Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Dear Friends,

As you know, for years, I have worked to raise much needed funds for various charities. This year I have decided to combine raising funds with a personal challenge. Something I haven’t done before. So in November I am joining a group of people in Vietnam  to trek for 6 days in aid of The Victoria Foundation. The Pu Long Trek challenge starts in Hanoi passes through some of the most lush untouched scenery in Asia. The area is home to many hill tribes, some still living as they have for generations. At night we will be guest in local homes.

All the money I raise will all go towards transforming the lives of children and young people by funding a wide range of much needed mobility aids including Bugzis (powered wheelchairs for younger children), buggies, specialist tricycles and lightweight wheelchairs.

The Victoria foundation and I would so appreciate any donation/sponsorship you can kindly make.

About the charity

The Victoria Foundation provides life enhancing medical equipment and support: Mobility Aids for Children, Accessible Transport Vehicles for the Elderly, and Toolkit Grants and Bursaries for students studying medicine from disadvantaged backgrounds. Your support will help to transform lives.
