A documentary maker friend came across Nokubegha whilst filming the TV programme 'After TB - Return of the Plague' (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03qljf1). After transmission,
donations to help Nokubegha were made which significantly changed her life. They paid for the installation of a water tank and toilet which meant she didn't have to use the waterhole which was also used by animals, causing her to regularly get sick.  She also received donations for schooling and books. 

The donations have now run out and Nok is faced with a 30km daily walk to school and back. Our plan is that as a team we do those miles for her and generate funds for her continued schooling.
