Story
Hi Guys,
Firstly thank you for taking the time to read this. As you all know on Sunday the 26th April 2015 I will be taking part in the London Marathon in aid of the Disability Law Service. It is a fabulous opportunity to raise awarness for a charity close to me that supports and give specialist advice for people of all impairments, helping to make their daily lives easier in the fields of Community Care, Employment, Disability Discrimination, Welfare benefits and Special Educational Needs.
So here It is! I am 25 this year so it's all come together quite nicely. I have run a half marathon and lots of 10Ks but never ran any further than that so I thought lets go for the next challenge a marathon!!
My training plan started at the beginning of December but I am doing a couple of runs a week at the moment. I suppose I never considered the fact that all the training has to be done during the winter when it's dark cold and wet. Damn!
All help in reaching my target amount would be greatly appreciated, as well as donations; I plan to reach my target by various ways including cake sales at work, so if you see me selling yummy buns, please come buy one!
“Mo Farah, prepare to come second!”
