Over the past 2 years my eldest daughter, Sally, spent time each week helping one of the year 7 students at her school who was struggling to fit in and get on at school. That made me so very proud. Now she is away at university, I decided I had a bit of time to start doing a bit more to give back to the community in Bath. Following in her footsteps.

The Bath half marathon is a great event each year and so it was the obvious choice to try and get to a point where i could run it and at the same time raise some money for Mentoring plus. I was definitely made for more sedentary activity but I am determined to try my absolute hardest to get to a point where I can run 13 miles in March.
